BOOK 1 – Peony

  • Fiction
  • Adult FANTASY
  • keywords: dark; high-stakes, political intrigue, subversive; emphasis on contractual law; not for the faint of heart (pun intended)
  • olfactory note: the sweet, summery fragrance radiated by windflowers on a mountainous valley, that sprouts timidly soft when bathed by sunrise, gradually intensifies in the afternoon, to then bloom into a heady, voluptuous scent at nightfall.

The inspiration behind this story lies in my personal experience as well as my family’s, especially that of my late grandmother – whom the main character is named after.
